“AJU” is a conceptual photography project, that i realized during my trip in Brasil, mainly in Aracaju.
Being originally from there as a second nationality, I took these photos combining raw, dynamic framing with some staging, with the aim of capturing as much as possible the atmosphere you feel when you are there. This allowed me to test a Kodak film camera and further refine my photographic style.
It's a small personal project, but I'm keen to show it off, not only because of the superb result but for the whole development process. I really took the time to capture moments that come to life, even though they are frozen in time, to get a strong sense of immersion in what I experienced.
